Catalan Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (ACPP)

The members of this association are psychology and medical graduates and doctors trained in psychoanalytic psychotherapy who have proved their value both in theory and in practice before the commission that qualifies according to the criteria established by the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy..

This association was legally set up in 1986 with the aim to improve both private and public Mental Health, attending children, adolescents and adults individually, or families, couples, groups and organizations.

To meet this objective the ACPP encourages the continuing education of its members and the training of new psychoanalytic psychotherapists developing research on theoretical aspects and the applications in clinical practice and techniques. Thus they can offer society a wide scope of possibilities of knowledge and treatment from the psychoanalytic field of thought. For this reason the ACPP maintains a service that aids the contact between available professionals and the public who require this specialized attention.
